A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing Kimberly & Mark’s wedding at Robert Carr Chapel and their reception at T&P Station. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left it was a fun filled day as I SO enjoyed the company of this sweet couple and their fascinating families. They opted to see one another before the ceremony and we did their first look in Overton Park near the TCU campus. It was the perfect setting with amazing light and we got some super good photos despite the strong winds. I loved this first image the moment I pressed the shutter, if it was my wedding I would hang this in my home and tell my children this is when I saw their Daddy for the first time on our wedding day. LOVE it!!
Kimberly is an MD so I know she has a close relationship with coffee after all those hours of studying. She sipped on coffee as she prepared to see her groom.
Now Kimberly SUPER duper impressed me with these shoes…..not bought like this, she totally DIY the crystals on the shoes. She said it took 2 weeks and I think it was worth the effect.
The above and below images tell a story that melts my heart. Above Kimberly prepares for her wedding as her family looks on and below I chose to focus on her great grandmother watching on. It was amazing to have 4 generations in attendance on her side!
Mark is such a happy guy, his friends and him had a good time relaxing while they prepped for his BIG day.
Not sure if Mark was afraid to look o
She just curled in with glee as she saw him. heart, heart.
Instant kiss was followed by twirling, admiring her gown, a few tears and LOTS of hugs.
Kimberly makes the best sassy faces.
Kimberly and Mark met at TCU in the Library studying so Robert Carr was the most appropriate spot for their nuptials.
Kim’s little bro was a cutie and a tad shy but I think this portrait captures him perfectly.
Kim was walked down the aisle by her Uncle and Mark was just as excited to see her at the altar as he was at the park a few hours earlier.
Kim’s little brother wanted the best spot in the house so he could see his big sis say her vows.
There is that sassy face again, love her attitude and his big smiles.
After the ceremony Kim revealed the inscription inside Mark’s ring and I just swoon over this moment.
Kim is one organized bride who pulled together some fabulous details all on her own. I am most proud of her home made sweets bar (my tummy was very impressed!)
First dance smiles and hugs.
Mark’s brother toasted the couple as his other siblings stood by.
and we……..DANCED!!
