Kim & John met at work and have been romancing for almost 6 years. They both have a love for country music and relaxing and enjoying life. Billy Bob’s was the perfect spot to kick off their engagement session as they spend many weekend nights attending shows at the venue. These two just seemed at home in each others arms, cold beers in hand. I love that they thought to include a spot that is symbolic of this stage of their lives! After some fun honky tonk photos we headed out to a rustic nature area. These two will be getting married at Classic Oaks Ranch, one of my favorite outdoor venues in the Fort Worth area. We went from country to city with their second look in downtown Fort Worth. The flat iron replica building with its classic city fire escapes and architecture were a fun connection to John’s family roots in New York. We played until the sun set and were able to get a really different angle of the courthouse then typically photographed – by setting up all the way down main street at the convention center.
