Courtney and Jake were married a few weeks ago at Broadway Baptist with a reception to follow at City Club of Fort Worth. Their bridal party was made up of their closest friends and some of the most adorable kids I have ever had at a wedding. Their ceremony was truly touching and I adored that as he gave her away Cortney’s Dad was wiping tears from his eyes. During the ceremony I had the best view in the balcony to see Jake’s face as he vowed to his bride and the stolen glances at each other during the lighting of the unity candle. When couples are recessing out of the church so often they are overwhelmed and looking out, seeing all the guests BUT Courtney and Jake kept looking at each other as they left the altar behind them. I LOVE THAT! It speaks so much to their love for one another. Fireworks have a special meaning to them so we did a getaway with sparklers at the church before heading over to the reception. The reception was filled with heart felt toasts, good company, delicious treats and good tunes from DJ William Ryan. It was such a special night and we SO enjoyed being there to photograph it!
