Ashlyn and Ben were so much fun to photograph and they had a truly spectacular day. We joined up with them pre-ceremony at The Fort Worth Club for getting ready before heading to First United Methodist in downtown. I loved SO many parts of their day, Ashlyn’s laughter as she was dressed in her gown, Ben’s expression as he opened his gift, the hammer that wasn’t quite cut out to nail and all the fun dance moves and silliness at the reception. Read on for more details about their day and a HUGE thank you to the team that made it so flawless.

And my favorite part, here is their wedding highlights reel:
What girl doesn’t love a beautiful nude shoe….especially with that red sole.
Ashlyn was laughing as they dressed her and that made me happy inside, I love brides filled with so much joy!
Ben looking so handsome.
These sweet girls were silly all day and beyond cute.
Ben’s reaction to his special groom’s present was priceless.
Ashlyn reading Ben’s LOOOONG note.
A little giggle during the ceremony.
With some Louisiana flair they couple was led out in style!
The Fort Worth Club looked amazing and the decor Ashlyn & Ben choose went perfectly with the ballroom.
My favorite part of their decor was this little sofa. It belongs to the Fort Worth Club and the moved it to use it as their seats of honor at their massive head table. The floral on it just made it perfect and what a beautiful statement!
As guests entered the ballroom the were greeted with champagne and a song by the Limelight Band, this girl can sing!
First Dance!
Toasts from friends made everyone laugh.
They opted for a sweet bar with 2 small cakes and I adored these monogrammed cookies, perfect prop for the rings!
Ashlyn was read to throw the bouquet and those girls were READY to catch it. I love when people get in to the traditions.
Perfectly sweet moment caught between Ashlyn and her Grandpa.
Ben has some righteous dance moves.
No wedding would be complete with out a sing along to Don’t Stop Believe’n and Ben was quick to jump on the stage and take that microphone.
A little more New Orleans flair as they departed their reception.
