Thrilled to share this fabulous Dallas wedding today! To say this one was fun would be an understatement – I think every person went home at the end of the night with hurting feet and a very happy heart!
This day was one of those rainy May Saturday’s. Ashley really wanted to be able to have some outdoor photos and we kept watching that forecast so that her and Derek could do their first sight outside at the Ritz Carlton. Right as we were about to get going it went from sunny to rain falling. We held our ground, ducked for cover and watched the radar on our phones as it showed this tiny little blip of showers over downtown Dallas. A few minutes later it passed by and we were blessed with about 20 minutes of glorious sunny skies. Pretty perfect for their first look and a few romantic portraits.
The rest of the day it did indeed rain but that did not put a damper on a touching religious ceremony led by a paster that had know Ashley since she was a toddler. They choose to take communion privately together before the ceremony and it was so beautiful.
