Erin is just one of those girls who is stunning – big beautiful eyes, great figure, pretty smile and a sweetheart to the core. She selected the perfect gown for her that hugged her body in all the right places and felt classic and clean in style. The dress was accented with a dazzling sash and I am kind of in love with her head piece. I think my words when she pulled it out of the box were: I wish all my brides would wear something like this! Why? Because it so perfectly fit with her dress, her hair style and made her look feel so special once she removed the veil. Plain old hair combs are pretty but THIS was special! Scroll down for some closer photos showing her cascading comb…..ahhhhh. LOVE. Well, enough about a hair comb – this girl was married 2 weeks ago at St Patricks Cathedral and The Modern Art Museum so her wedding images will be making a splash soon. Shout out to fabulous hair by Renn Traylor!

September 4, 2014 Karolina & Roger – Engagement Portraits at Eagle Mountain Lake Park
I am SO excited to share these – Karolina is our studio assistant so if you are a client of ours you have chatted with this lovely lady by phone or email countless times. Well, in just a few weeks she is going to be the bride! We can’t wait to photograph her big day and to see her and Roger joined as husband and wife. It is fun to photograph someone you see every day, it forces me to stop and really observe and what I saw is how really stunning Karolina is. She has killer eyes, full hair and flawless skin. She is going to make a beautiful bride in her Bliss Bridal dress! Last week we met up at Eagle Mountain Lake Park for some engagement photos at this beautiful and rustic park. It perfectly complimented their personalities and Roger’s easy going vibe. Can’t wait to see these two become a family as when they marry they will become an instant house of 6! Roger has there gorgeous little girls and Karolina has an adorable little son. Congrats!
May 20, 2014 Kayla – Bridal Portrait at Aldredge House, Dallas
Kayla is one of the sweetest and most genuine girls I have ever met. She is excited about life, quick to laugh and so loving. I can’t count how many times this girl has hugged me or expressed gratitude – It is kind of hard not to love her! Her laid back outdoor wedding will be hitting the blog soon. For her bridal portraits we choose a more formal look and feel at the Aldredge House in Dallas. This historic vintage home is grand and beautiful and brought out Kayla’s sophisticate side. Her lace gown and elegant cap sleaves from Brides and Beaux in Colleyville were perfectly paired with the feeling of this venue. Kayla’s classic ivory and white bouquet with texture was created by Todd Events. We were blessed with a great day so we were able to explore the grounds as well. So very excited to share her wedding later this week!
I love photographing bridal portraits and my absolute favorite part of them is when I can finally share them after the wedding! Kathryn is off on her honeymoon right now with her husband Douglas so I get to share these! On a ver cold day we met up with Kathryn and her Mom at the historic YWCA in downtown Fort Worth. This vintage building has grand sweeping windows, interesting architecture and is a fabulous spot for a bridal portrait. We utilized the natural light and created some drama with off camera flash that perfectly complemented her fitted lace gown. The back of her dress is my favorite part, so sexy yet elegant! Huge shout out to the hair and make up team that helped our bride pull together this lovely look! Lip Service Makeup by Jennifer Trotter and Renn Taylor Hair! Gown is from Brides & Beaux in Colleyville with her bouquet created by Colleyville Florist.
Can’t wait to share her Piazza in the Village wedding next week!

Krista was married in November so I think it is about time I get to sharing her bridal portraits! Her wedding was at the T&P Station in Fort Worth so the classic vintage look of the YWCA was the perfect compliment. They have fabulous big windows that provide some pretty sweet light for portraits. To add in a little natural flair we also visited Trinity Park.
