Katie and Garrett were married on January 5th with a simply elegant wedding on the TCU campus at Robert Carr Chapel and their divinity Hall. It was flawless and perfect and full of sweet genuine moments that sent my heart a flutter. From the moment they saw one another in the chapel for their first look it was beautiful to see them together. I loved this intimate moment on the chapel steps before their ceremony. A big thanks to City Kitchen Catering for the fabulous food, cakes and help with coordination during the reception. Katie’s lace gown with intricate key hole back was found at the Bridal Boutique of Lewisville.

One of my favorite photos from their day, a private moment in the limo after the ceremony on the way to their reception.  I ADORE Melanie Jane’s laugh.

Melanie Jane & Dave’s wedding day was phenomenal.  Today I will be sharing the precious moments of their preparations, ceremony and some of their beautiful details.  Tomorrow be on the lookout for their slide show with my favorite images that completely tell the story of their wedding day as well as their first look, romantic portraits and reception.

We met up at their reception location, The Fort Worth Club, for preparations with Melanie Jane.  The light was perfect as her hair and make up team helped with her bridal transformation.  After she shimmied into her dress we were on to Robert Carr Chapel for her ceremony.  Her wedding was made beautiful by their vendor line up including:

Lyndsay and Brandon gave me a TON of time with the for Romantic portraits and that made me one very happy photographer.  Not only did we get to photograph at Robert Carr chapel but we swung by The Modern for a few photos and the old post office before heading on to the reception at T&P Station.  Read on for more about their night and of course their highlights slide show.

Lyndsay and Brandon were married a few weeks ago at Robert Carr Chapel on Texas Christian University’s campus with a reception to follow at the Historic T&P Station.  Today I am thrilled to share my favorites from their preparations and ceremony.  Above I stole these two away right after the ceremony and gave them a few moments alone and I just love this image.  The shadows, them sharing a few words, absolute LOVE.   These two were SO expressionistic so I had way too many special photos to choose from but I had to narrow it down (so tough!)  Read on for more about their day and check back tomorrow for part 2.

Big shout out to Brittney Ann who stepped in to help us a bit for this wedding and took a few of the lovely details above.  Your the best!

Only dislike about Robert Carr is their getting ready “classrooms” BUT I do love it in this instance because of the sweet heart drawn on the chalkboard behind my bride as she prepares to get married.

After the minister came into sign the marriage license pre-ceremony the guys clapped and laughed.

Best thing about having a third shooter – a photographer stationed with the bride and her Dad to get photos like this!

And as he looks at her, he cries.  SWOON..

Lyndsay couldn’t keep herself from crying either.
