Rebecca and Jason are a match in every way.  Jason’s sense of humor definitely caught Rebecca’s attention and I can see why.  Together these two are not stop laughs and smiles.  The ability to laugh together is necessary in a marriage and since they have that in spades I think they could overcome a lot of hard times and really enjoy the good.  For their session we strolled the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth before hitting up downtown near Sundance Square, the site of their first date.  Jason kept her busy from dinner at La Cantina Laredo, ice cream and a comedy show that evening and I don’t think they have ever stopped.  I can’t wait for their fall wedding ceremony and reception at City Club of Fort Worth!

Photographing Meghan & Cody’s engagement session a few weeks ago was incredible.  They were sweet, silly and Cody is for sure head over heels for this darling girl.  Meghan met Cody through his brother’s wife and I must say that she is one lucky girl to have such good friends!  Their wedding this coming July at Bass Hall is going to be a hit with the best of Fort Worth for their vendor list.  My good friend, Tami Winn, is their coordinator and helping them pull everything together.  I can’t wait to photograph these two again.  I have the best clients!

Veronica & Robert were married last weekend and Sarah Rizy and I just had an amazing time with them.  They had a mid-afternoon wedding at St Andrews Episcopal followed by a sit down dinner at City Club Fort Worth were everyone had a great time.  I think by the end of the day we had all cried just a bit as it was such a touching day with beautiful and funny toasts, parent dances and just an amazing amount of love between these two families.  Veronica and Robert were high school sweethearts and have been together about 8 years so it was most definitely a day all had looked forward to for a long time.  Many of my couples have late afternoon and evening weddings but I always love early weddings as it allows for very different light through out the day.  Because of the timing we had plenty of time to snag some photos outside the church and off Lancaster by a historic building before heading to the reception.  We ended their day with a few photos as the sun was starting to set in a field in Fort Worth after the getaway.  Then Robert whisked Veronica off to a secret location for their first night as husband and wife before heading out on their honeymoon.  Here are some beautiful moments and romantics from their daytime wedding!

Table design by Travis Lee. Super fun. Why? I adore the eclectic feel to this design. It breaks away from the norm and has a ton of personality, just like this designer.

I like elephants so I had to show off this detail shot of Travis' design.

I love yellow. It is a color I wish more people would use for their weddings at is so bright and happy. Marla from Pea Pod Productions designed this cheery table which I adore for the different types of vases & flowers as well as the yummy lemons.

This weekend I had so much fun with Jennifer and Max.  We ran into some obstacles with some keys accidentally getting locked in the trunk where all our changes of clothes were but luckily Jennifers super sweet Dad came to our rescue with a spare key.  The extra time we spent just chatting while we waited on him was well worth it as I love hanging with my couples even when we aren’t taking any photos.   These two met on a blind date and whoever set that up did a great job as they are a perfect match.  Jennifer is a lawyer in Dallas and Max is finishing up medical school.  I loved Max’s dry sense of humor and his second love, his new sports coat that really he didn’t want to take off.  He was convinced that it was the jacket making the photos look so good but I disagree, it was my in love subjects.  Here are some favorites from the Japanese Gardens, Kimball Art Museum and a lovely field down town.
