Lindsey and Colin are married!  I adored working this couple.  Lindsey is so sweet and Colin is a character.  These two had me smiling all day!  We met up at their church, Highland Park Presbyterian, in Dallas for getting ready and their ceremony.  This couple chose to see each other before the wedding so we could take care of all their formal photography ahead of time and they could head straight to the party!  As we set Lindsey up in the courtyard so Colin could walk out to her it started to sprinkle but God was good and held off the rain so we could do all of our outside portraits.  I think they had a pretty perfect day with the help of After Yes wedding planners.  Check back tomorrow for their reception at The Room On Main!

Katie and Garrett were married on January 5th with a simply elegant wedding on the TCU campus at Robert Carr Chapel and their divinity Hall. It was flawless and perfect and full of sweet genuine moments that sent my heart a flutter. From the moment they saw one another in the chapel for their first look it was beautiful to see them together. I loved this intimate moment on the chapel steps before their ceremony. A big thanks to City Kitchen Catering for the fabulous food, cakes and help with coordination during the reception. Katie’s lace gown with intricate key hole back was found at the Bridal Boutique of Lewisville.

Elisabeth and Will’s wedding day was a dream come true.  Every moment was beautiful and it was a complete privilege to be able to document their day.  From the moment Elisabeth slipped her Pronovias dress on she took my breath away and continued to do so the rest of the evening.  Their love is beautiful and watching them together made me truly happy – yep, I am lucky to do what I do!  This favorite above is from moments after their first look at The Fort Worth Club before heading over to Holy Catholic Family Church.  Multiple reflections and natural light make it scrumptious.  Read on for more about their preparations, first look and ceremony.

This was a beautiful part of the ceremony, the god parents of Elisabeth presented an alms (I think that is what they called it.)  Will promised to take care of Elisabeth and others in the way that Christ served, it was touching.

It was a cold day so we only ran out for a minute before seeking warmth but it was worth it!

Ann & John’s wedding was a perfect party which is exactly what this couple wanted, a fun day with dancing, family and lots of laughs.  It went by SO fast that when the band played the last song no one could believe it was time to leave.  I met up with the couple at The Omni Hotel in Fort Worth for preparations.  Halo Salon joined us for hair and makeup and they created Ann’s mermaid like waves.  After Ann slipped into her dress and John passed out the cowboy hats (his groomsmen gift) she awaited him on the balcony where they had their first look.  The above photo is one of my favorite from our short time on the windy terrace before we sought the calm and cool of indoors.  Read on for more about their day and check back tomorrow for their beyond amazing reception at The Modern with Emerald City.

I LOVE, love, LOVED Ann’s bridesmaid attire (and her gown from Bliss Bridal).  She was so savvy and had all of her girls find a dress of their liking in the same color palette.  It looked so smart.

They had such a smashing first part of their wedding day but the romantic portraits to come at The Modern and the dance party provided by Emerald City was KILLER!!!!
