Brooke & Cody will be getting hitched this summer in Aledo with a reception at Ashton Depot. I met up with them at Brooke’s family home in Weatherford for their engagement session. We totally lucked out as it was predicted to rain and we dodged them some how. During our session we had some distant Thunder and ominous clouds rolling in but they didn’t really break open until right at the end. I think as we said our goodbyes and jumped in the cars it started pouring about 2 minutes later. That was some luck! These two met through some mutual friends and got engaged last June. I could seriously have photographed at their home all day, between the amazing stormy cloud filled sky and the landscape I was in photographer heaven! We also headed down into Weatherford for some photos in the historic downtown area.

April 17, 2014 Angela and Chad – Fort Worth Engagement Portraits
Angela and Chad are getting married in 1 month at City Club of Fort Worth and I can’t wait! These two met at a local restaurant where they became friends before starting to date. They are a great pairing and bring out the best in each other. During their session we hit Sundance square and a few spots downtown where Angela wore a super fun bold stripe skirt. After we took it to a little more casual and headed over to Fairmount Old Home Supply. There we had some fun and some distractions as a family and their very nude little boy made us all laugh. I must say it was a tad awkward but the laughs that it caused were worth it. One of the other (clothed) children makes a cameo in their photos riding past on his tricycle. It is definitely a session I will not soon forget. See you two in a few short weeks! -Tracy
April 7, 2014 Amy & Tom – 5 Year Anniversary Photos at TCU Campus
Amy & Tom visited me a few weeks ago for anniversary portraits! 5 years ago I photographed their super sweet nuptials at Robert Carr Chapel and Ashton Depot. Since then these two have just grown in their love and it was so cool to get to catch up with them! I love when couples do something special for themselves like photos for such a big milestone. They chose TCU since it has so much importance to their present and past. They love to attend games during football season so we had to grab some pics in the stands of the stadium. Thanks you two for continuing to trust me in capturing your most important moments! Congrats on 5 years and the next 50 to come!
Tracey and Luis are getting married this coming November and I can’t wait! Number one, she has a really cool name. Now it might have an extra “E” in it but I won’t hold that against her. These two are darling and sweet together and I had a great time with them for their Dallas Engagement session at White Rock Lake. We explored some new spots and some old faves for their nature inspired shoot. The relaxed and classic feel worked perfectly with their attire and personalities. Best part, Luis loves her. Yep, totally. See you two soon!
Shannon and Geoff are SO darn cute! Oh my. SO this couple is the ultimate in cool. They didn’t want just ONE engagement, they wanted TWO sessions! I love that! SO we met up in the fall for their first session you can see HERE at The Las Colinas Canals and Grapevine Botanical Gardens. It was super fabulous! So this time we went a completely other route. We headed to Dallas to hang out at SMU and also The Crescent. We shared some coffee and cupcakes as a nod to where this couple first met, a coffee shop! Shannon brought along some sweet cupcakes (I know, I ate them with my kids afterwards!) Their wedding this June is going to be so phenomenal, can’t wait!!!
See more of their sweet shoot!
