SO excited to share this one! Tiffany and Chip were one of my first couples to book for the 2015 calendar year and I have to wait all the way until October for their Southern wedding at Lone Star Mansion. I have been waiting ages to hang out with these two and take their engagement photos so we were stoked when the weather of this very wet May cooperated with us for their Dallas session. Tiff & Chip wanted a very urban, city vibe to compliment their laid back yet elegant outdoor wedding. I loved the locations we selected as it gives a nod to where they live and work at this time. Hanging out in Bishop Arts we stopped in for a quick bite of pie at Emporium Pies (haven’t been? Run, not walk, immediately to get your self a slice.) They dived in to a slice of red chess pie and shared some cute moments in the oh so sweet shop. After running around the arts district we headed out to accomplish a killer shot of the Dallas skyline (seen above.) This bridge was the perfect vantage point but it was a good thing we had a spotter (Tiffany’s Mom) to watch out for some very fast driving cars! Congrats you two and I am over the moon about your upcoming wedding! -Tracy Oh, not enough? Check out their slideshow:

Marysa & James were one of the lucky ones this month – no rescheduling, no rain and perfect weather! This April & May has been crazy wet so it has gotten in the way of SO many of our couples engagement and bridal photo shoots. One one of our rare perfect days we headed over to the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth for a romantic stroll and some super cute photos of these two! James is an absolute doll and these two just melt into each other when they are together. You can see and feel the love! The Fuller Garden was lush and green and we had it mostly to ourselves!
After some garden romance we set out to downtown Fort Worth where James proposed to Marysa in Sundance Square. We strolled the streets, hit the ever famous and always needed courthouse for a classic photo before spending some time on the square. The fountains are beautiful but they were being tricky with us! Sometimes they are just a little tricky and other times they are beautiful tall towers of water – we kept waiting for just the right time to snap our photos. Finally we got lucky, got some beautiful images and headed home. Thanks you two for trusting me with your engagement and wedding and I can’t wait to celebrate with you next year!

Before all this bad weather rolled in Casey & Andrew and I had a perfect winter day for their engagement session at Trinity Park and the Art Museum’s in Fort Worth. Casey met Andrew while living in Houston and attending med school. 1.5 years later they are engaged and set to be married in September at Robert Carr Chapel & Shady Oaks Country Club. Andrew is still living and working down in Houston while Casey is up here in Dallas finishing up her residency. Long distance looks good on them though as I know they were excited to have a weekend together and I believe our session may have been a perfect start for some time together. Casey is sweet and her smile just lights up her face, and Andrews. If the sun hadn’t been setting on me I could have just hung out with these two for hours! Can’t wait for your wedding later this year guys!

February 14, 2015 Erin & John – Mini Engagement in Fort Worth
Erin & John popped in for a mini engagement session a few weeks ago before their April wedding with me! I was excited to see Erin again, catch up on all that has happened since we originally met and get to see this couple together in front of my camera. Sometimes our couples have had engagements done prior to working with us or in another city/state but we still love to hang out with them camera in hand for a short session to get to see their on camera chemistry! For their first session they had selected very nature inspired locales so for this mini we headed to one of my favorite classic downtown Fort Worth spots to go with their very city wedding! The columns of the old post office and the city side walks were perfect and I loved seeing this couple laugh and smile. See you two in a short while for your wedding at The Modern!
SOOOO excited to share this session I did before Thanksgiving. The leaves were really starting to change and I adore this couple! They hired me with out a meeting so a few weeks ago we finally got together and hung out, got to know each other and went over their wedding – it is going to be a fun one! Then before the holiday we ordered up some perfect weather for their White Rock Lake & Dallas Skyline engagements! This two are both Aggies but didn’t meet while attending college, after graduation both found themselves in Dallas, attending the same church! I love when couples meet in their place of worship, it unites them in so many ways from the very start and sets such a solid foundations for their marriage. Rachael is gorgeous and I loved the outfits she selected for their shoot. She even braved the dock at the lake for a few photos even though the mass amounts of birds hanging around were a little freaky. Colin is just a love, He was so sweet to her through out the session, his smiles and snuggles say it all about how he feels about his bride to be.
Can’t wait for their May wedding in Dallas! Want more? Than check out some more of my favorites from their engagement portraits:
