Brooke was a stunning bride for her December wedding and she rocked her gorgeous dress from Stardust Celebrations at her bridal portraits at The Mansion at Turtle Creek earlier last year. Her lace gown was perfectly accented with the delicately trimmed veil. Her hair and makeup team, Tracy Melton, stayed on site during her shoot and we did a quick hair change from down to up. It is so hard to decide on a hair style for the big day and Brooke was able to see both before selecting the half up half down look for her wedding. The flowers from Bella Flora complimented the lace details and made her look complete. Brooke & Justin’s wedding was a super fun one to end the year in 2014. December 2, 2014 Amanda – Bridal Portraits at The Mansion at Turtle Creek
Amanda & John were married before Thanksgiving so today I can finally break these out and share them with the world! I LOVE this dramatic first image, it is actually the photo Amanda chose for display at her wedding. I love its simplicity yet great use of light. The Mansion at Turtle Creek has become a client favorite for bridal portraits this year and I am never disappointed when they select it. The balance between the outdoor images and the drama and classic feelings inside were perfectly paired with this bride’s classic style. Amanda has said since she was a little girl gloves would be a must at her wedding and she didn’t change her mind. I think they are perfect with her gown and her personality. Congrats Amanda and very soon your wedding photos will be making an appearance!

November 17, 2014 Tracey & Luis – Wedding at Thistle Springs Ranch
Tracey and Luis are too cute for words and I am head over heals with this first photo, after kissing at the altar and twice in the aisle on their way out they still immediately kissed and embraced once out of sight from all their guests. I think that is a record! 4 kisses in a matter of seconds, these two couldn’t keep away from each other once they were finally together! Before they were married though we had a blast getting ready and getting down the aisle. From the moment I walked into the room Tracey was all smiles! Since prior to the wedding Tracey was not able to do bridal portraits we took some time out before the ceremony and hiked over to a treed area by the water for some stunning photos of her alone in her Bliss Bridal gown. Luis and his boys prepped in the loft where his brother helped him get dressed and he got a touch teary reading the note Tracey wrote him. During the ceremony it was Tracey’s turn to get teared up and Luis, the gentleman that he is, wiped her tears away. They really could not be more adorable and in love!
Check back tomorrow for their reception and wedding slide show!

November 6, 2014 Allison & Michael – Wedding Ceremony at The Orchard in Azle
Allison & Michael are married! They had what was possibly the best case scenario ever for their October ranch wedding at The Orchard- perfect temps and beautiful skies! I think every bride planning an outdoor wedding gets a little worried about what could happen that day but all the prayers paid off for this couple. From arrival Allison was all jitters and just excited that it was FINALLY her day! She was just beaming from the inside, I could literally see the joy all over her! After dressing with her maids she did a sweet reveal with her Daddy and I loved it, his face was priceless and he saw his girl as a bride for the first time. During the ceremony Michael got really choked up, tears were shed but more so were big smiles and lots of laughter from this couple. It was a really fun ceremony to watch as their pastor interjected some hilarious comments! It was a huge pleasure to spend the day with this couple and their family and friends. Check back tomorrow for their reception blog!
November 4, 2014 Cammy – Bridal Portrait at The Mansion on Turtle Creek
Cammy was married last month so it is time to unveil her bridal portraits at The Mansion on Turtle Creek! This has become one of my favorite locales for bridals as it is not only beautiful but the staff is amazing and takes such good care of my brides who choose to do portraits here. I love the outdoor areas like the balcony above and all the different vibes indoors has to offer. From the classic staircase to the moody dark bar to the well lit hall with fabulous window light. The classic setting fit with Cammy’s wedding day look flawlessly. Her lace gown with illusion sleeves added was perfectly complimented by her cathedral length veil and train. I loved the fall brights that she choose for her bouqet!
Love her look? Here is how she achieved it:
