Lindsey and Christian are adorably sweet – just look above to see the proof. This sweet moment in the choir closet at their church just moments after their ceremony embodies EVERYTHING I love about weddings and my job. My couples, being real, genuine, in a moment “alone” some how loosing themselves in each other even though I am watching. Right after the wedding ends is probably my favorite part of the day – I love seeing how my couples react to the fact that they are FINALLY married. I think Lindsey & Christian have a beautiful Christ centered relationship and I can’t wait to see how they continue to grow together.
Their day was full of these love filled moments but they were equally balanced with lots of laughs and fun. From the moment I arrived at Lindsey’s house for prep photos her gals and her were cutting up, telling stories and smiling from ear to ear. From almost dropping an earring down her dress to a hilarious moment around the corner at the church between the couple, their great attitudes and easy going spirits were so refreshing. What is even more remarkable about this couple is God’s timing, attending the same church growing up, even the same youth group and activities neither of them ever really “saw” the other. Then at the right time, after college, they took notice and it was amazing to hear the pastor who once ministered to them as teens marry them in that same church.
Also included in this post are a few of Lindsey’s bridal portraits we took a few months ago at Thistle Hill in Fort Worth. This historic mansion is a fabulous place for a session with a vintage antique flair.
Check back tomorrow for more images from their Colonial Country Club wedding!
Huge shout out to the wedding vendors that helped make this Hurst and Fort Worth Wedding such a success:
