Lauren – Bridal Portraits at Arlington HallDallas, TX

Tracy Autem 2015

Lauren was just stunning in her delicate beaded overlay gown.  It was so unique and completely fits her personality and style.  The day Lauren found her dress at Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC she was just going to look and check out a trunk show of a designer she loved, it was love at first sight with this dress though so she committed to it and I’m so glad she did.  Her undone garden bouquet by The Southern Table added to the light airy feel of Lauren’s look.  We photographed this session just days before her wedding since she lives in New York.  Totally loved being with her and Doug for their day.

Nicole & Kyle – Engagement Photos in DallasArlington Hall & Downtown Arts District

Tracy Autem 2015

Nicole and Kyle will be getting married in just a few months and I can’t wait!  Their Dallas Weddings at SMU Perkins and The Adolphus is going to be one fun party!  How do I know?  Because these two keep good company, they are friends of one of my other couples and every wedding we get to photograph related to this group of friends is always dance floor packed don’t want it to end excitement.

Nicole and Kyle are super sweet together.  During their session I loved that there was lots of laughter – Kyle knows how to make Nicole smile and laugh and I can just see how she melts into his harms.  Pretty dang perfect.  This day can not get here fast enough!  Congrats you two and I will see you soon!

Cammy – Bridal Portrait at The Mansion on Turtle Creek

Tracy Autem & Lightly Photography 2014

Cammy was married last month so it is time to unveil her bridal portraits at The Mansion on Turtle Creek!  This has become one of my favorite locales for bridals as it is not only beautiful but the staff is amazing and takes such good care of my brides who choose to do portraits here.  I love the outdoor areas like the balcony above and all the different vibes indoors has to offer.  From the classic staircase to the moody dark bar to the well lit hall with fabulous window light.  The classic setting fit with Cammy’s wedding day look flawlessly. Her lace gown with illusion sleeves added was perfectly complimented by her cathedral length veil and train.  I loved the fall brights that she choose for her bouqet!

Love her look?  Here is how she achieved it:

Tami Winn Events – Floral, Planning & Design

Halo Brides – Hair & Make Up

Neiman Marcus – Brides Gown

Ashley & Derek – Dallas City Engagement Session

Tracy Autem & Lightly Photography 2014

SO super excited to share this session!  From the moment Ashley walked into my office to meet my I just fell in love with her smile, her heart and just sweet disposition.  I was even more excited to see her in her loves arms at this session in Dallas and get to know Derek as well.  These two met in high school and were friends first before Derek began his pursuit of Ashley.  The attended Ol Miss for a little while together before Ashley finished up here at UNT.  These two are inseparable though and I just loved watching them together.  Derek is very laid back, go with the flow and low key while Ashley brings adventure and a fun loving spirit to the table.  Seeing such a well matched couple makes me excited for their wedding and what the future holds for them.  Congrats you two!  Can not wait for your May wedding at the Ritz Carlton!

Lindsey & Colin Engagement Portraits in Dallas at The Farmers Market and Highland Park

Last week on a perfect day I spent some time exploring a new location that I will definitely have to resist on my own time, the farmers market!  It was amazing, filled with such bright colors and amazing smells.  It was a great backdrop for some casual portraits of Lindsey and Colin.  Then we headed to the Highland Park area where they attend church to some of the beautiful neighborhood parks.  These two made me laugh and Colin is a fun guy because he seems to be quite a juxtaposition on so many accounts.  He likes to hunt but does not like to get dirty when not in hunting attire and he looks at Lindsey like she is the only woman in the world.  That, makes me happy.  Lindsey is sweet and fun and definitely brings the best out in her sweetheart.  I love how they fit together!

They will be tying the knot next March in Dallas with a reception at The Room on Main.  She is building a stellar team so I know it will be a wedding to remember!

Morgan & Walt {Engaged} in Dallas at Turtle Creek & Arlington Hall

Morgan and Walt met up with me in Dallas last week for their engagement session.  They live right off Turtle Creek and wanted photos there and by Arlington Hall as it is their home.  Morgan is a Fort Worth girl though so next year in March they will be getting married at Robert Carr Chapel at TCU with a reception at The Colonial Country Club.  It was great getting to meet Walt and learning more about them both.  Morgan is a Pilate instructor but has a background in accounting and finance.  Walt is a referee for the Big 12, such a cool job!  He does have a “real” job too but I think the ref one is a tad cooler.  These two have know each other for a VERY long time because their Dad’s work together.  I love when relationships grow out of casual acquaintance and I think it is awesome that their families are already so close.  Can’t wait to see you both again in a few months for your wedding!
