Kyndall & Cole are getting married next summer at TCU! Yep, ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel and the reception overlooking the stadium at the TCU Champion’s club! Texas Christian University is a huge part of this couples story, it is where it began so it makes so much sense that they will be saying I do there too! They met as freshman and were friends thorough out college. Cole knows he was firmly place in the friend zone and he worked hard to get out of it and eventually Kyndall came around and fell hard for this sweet and loving man. He is a little soft spoken but I think Kyndall’s bubbly and outgoing personality make them a perfect pairing. So complimentary! This past summer both of their families vacationed together in Hawaii where Cole proposed 0 so special! I had so much fun hanging out with them and loved Kyndall’s deep purple lace dress and her adorable “game day” outfit for the football stadium. So much fun! Can’t wait for the wedding! Rah Rah TCU!
This lovely lady is my niece and I am kind of excited that she is getting married next July! Although I will be at her wedding my fabulous associate Amanda McCollum with Lightly Photography will be photographing her day so that I can just be family! Now I might help a little with some of the photos but I honestly just can’t wait to celebrate with these two. It was actually the first time I have ever met Jake and I instantly fell in love with him and his fun personality. I can see why Caelan fell for him. These two met while attending college and living in the same building. During one of their first meeting Jake jokingly got down on one knee and asked Caelan to be his bride. Little did he know that years later he would be doing it for real in front of her parents and grandparents on a cruise ship.
Jake is a musician and is a member of a country band so we had to get some western vibes going for their photo shoot. After a show in Austin and before a music festival in North Texas we met up in Fort Worth at the Stockyards for their engagement session. After playing there we headed to one of my favorite nature spots with a beautiful pond and open fields.
Congrats and I can’t wait for your San Antonio wedding next year!
Heather & Tim are engaged and getting married next year in January! Adored getting to know them more as we laughed and had lots of talks about leg popping during this photo shoot. Heather and I joked that she will now forever now how to pose for selfies and such. Tim is a sweetheart and super excited about the wedding process. It is so refreshing to see a groom that wants all the things! The big wedding, engagement photos and even and engagement party. I love this guy! We actually photographed their engagement party last month at Times Ten Cellar in Fort Worth. It was a beautiful evening and so fun! Looking forward to spending more time with this couple at their City Club Wedding next year!
Madison & Holt are getting married next July in Fort Worth at TCU’s Robert Carr Chapel and The Modern. Although this couple attended Texas Christian University and met there they live in Dallas so we met up on a beautiful day for some engagement portraits at The Dallas Arboretum & White Rock Lake. I had some scrumptious light, especially for mid day and we overcame the wind for one of my favorite fall photo shoots. Madison looked amazing in her plaid and classic cape sweater and was pretty perfectly complimented by Holt’s sweater. These two are easy in front of the camera, sweet to one another and just perfectly matched. I am so excited for their wedding and to see what DFW Events pulls together for their special day!

After a laugh filled ceremony this couple was blessed with what I would define as perfect light. It was the right time of day with a beautiful natural landscape behind them at The Orchard in Azle. I’m so happy we had time to walk around the property for these images, they are some of my favorites of late! Allison and Michael are just sweet as pie together, so loving, so tender and full of great smiles and laughter – their joy is contagious as I was just as happy behind the camera as they were in front of it! After using up all our light it was time to party! Their friends and family dined on some yummy mexican food then danced the night away! Sealing the evening with a sparkler exit was the perfect ending, congrats to a pretty fabulous couple, I know you have a life time of happiness ahead!

Casey and William are getting married next June in Dallas at Christ the King and the Dallas Arboertum. These Fort Worth TCU alumni met in college and started dated after they graduated. Now they are tithing the knot and I just can’t wait for their wedding. We met up last week on a beautiful day at White Rock Lake where all of their session took place. It is simply beautiful out there and the leaves are just barely starting to turn and fall to the ground – so excited it finally feels like Fall! Their pup, Oscar, joined in on some photos as well. I had a great time getting to know the two of you better and the wedding next year is sure to be fabulous!

I am SO excited to share these – Karolina is our studio assistant so if you are a client of ours you have chatted with this lovely lady by phone or email countless times. Well, in just a few weeks she is going to be the bride! We can’t wait to photograph her big day and to see her and Roger joined as husband and wife. It is fun to photograph someone you see every day, it forces me to stop and really observe and what I saw is how really stunning Karolina is. She has killer eyes, full hair and flawless skin. She is going to make a beautiful bride in her Bliss Bridal dress! Last week we met up at Eagle Mountain Lake Park for some engagement photos at this beautiful and rustic park. It perfectly complimented their personalities and Roger’s easy going vibe. Can’t wait to see these two become a family as when they marry they will become an instant house of 6! Roger has there gorgeous little girls and Karolina has an adorable little son. Congrats!
Tracey and Luis are getting married this coming November and I can’t wait! Number one, she has a really cool name. Now it might have an extra “E” in it but I won’t hold that against her. These two are darling and sweet together and I had a great time with them for their Dallas Engagement session at White Rock Lake. We explored some new spots and some old faves for their nature inspired shoot. The relaxed and classic feel worked perfectly with their attire and personalities. Best part, Luis loves her. Yep, totally. See you two soon!
Krista was married in November so I think it is about time I get to sharing her bridal portraits! Her wedding was at the T&P Station in Fort Worth so the classic vintage look of the YWCA was the perfect compliment. They have fabulous big windows that provide some pretty sweet light for portraits. To add in a little natural flair we also visited Trinity Park.
This couple rocks my socks off! From the moment I met Shannon & Geoff I knew, knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. They are such sweethearts and I adore their relationship with each other and God. They are getting hitched on a Thursday (I Know, crazy? Nope, smart. Did you know most vendors including me give discounts Mon-Thursday on weddings?). Their wedding will be in June so for engagements they wanted to incorporate the fall. We got super lucky with some perfect weather before all this coldness rolled in. Light was AHmazing, turning leaves, cute puffy vests and plaid made for woods engaged perfection. For the first part of their shoot we wanted it to feel very Gothic European so we hit up the Canals of Las Colinas and the couple rocked some classic attire. Thanks guys for picking me! I can’t wait until next time!-
