Bethany & Tyler – Wedding Reception at The Ashton DepotFort Worth, Texas

This wedding reception is one I will likely never forget.  At the end of the night I told Tyler that he is one of the coolest and most fun groom’s I have ever worked with.  Tyler and Bethany both are a joy to be around and they made the best of their 4 hour reception.  I am pretty sure they danced, hugged, talked and laughed with at least every guest they had.  From the moment they walked in the tone was set for a killer night – as the doors opened and the band announced the Mr & Mrs and played “All I do is Win”  these two entered the reception arms in the air and tore up the dance floor before their first dance had even begun.  Their entrance was epic and it didn’t stop there.  Reception’s are about more than the couple – they are about all the invited guest and loved ones.  During this party I loved watching the parents interact with one another and their children.  We caught Tyler hugging Bethany’s parents, chatting up his Dad and brother and being a little crazy on the stage with the band.  Bethany sang with the band from the dance floor, had fun dancing beside her husband and stole lots of kisses from him all night.

To top all of that – Bethany and Tyler are my 4th couple in a group of friends I have been so lucky to photograph.  Having 3 of my past couples dancing along side me as I captured this night was priceless.  Building relationships with my couples and seeing them time and again at other friends weddings is such a huge reward.  I’m looking forward to sharing the dance floor with all 8 of them next year at another one!

Bethany & Tyler – Wedding Ceremony at Robert Carr ChapelTCU Fort Worth, Texas

Hey!  Look at this beautifully remodeled and fresh new look at Robert Carr Chapel!  The iconic church on the campus of Texas Christian University just finished a long renovation earlier this month and I was SO excited to see it finished.  I love the updated color palette, new floors, expanded altar and all the amazing amenities they have added.  Can’t wait for all  my upcoming weddings here!

Okay, enough about the new look at Robert Carr – back to Bethany & Tyler!  Before walking down the aisle Bethany’s friends laid hands on her and prayed over her, the wedding and her life ahead as a Mrs.  It was so sweet!  During the ceremony these two were all smiles and I can’t blame them – I was too!  Their pastor was hilarious – he gave a challenging word of inspiration.  Pushing them to seek after a marriage that was full, overflowing and rich in all things – like a big gulp!  Yes, a big gulp, and he had the cup to drive the point home as a prop!  After saying I do, embracing the idea of a marriage that is MORE they kissed and it was done!  They were married!

Robert Carr isn’t just gorgeous inside, it is outside as well and we took some beautiful photos of these two on the steps and around the chapel.

Bethany & Tyler – Wedding First Look and Wedding Party PortraitsTrinity Park, Fort Worth

Look at how cute and excited these two were to finally see each other!  Bethany knew she wanted a location that was green and lush for her first sight with Tyler.  We selected Trinity Park for just that reason and it was gorgeous!  Right before he turned I asked him what he thought her dress might look like and he may have been a little off on his expectations but he was not disappointed when he turned to see Bethany.  After some photos of the two of them alone they were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for wedding party photos.

Bethany & Tyler – Wedding Preperations at Renaissance Worthington HotelFort Worth, Texas

Bethany & Tyler are married and this day was so full of emotion, happy moments and lots of partying that I had to split all the awesomeness up into 4 blogs!  Today we are taking a look at Bethany and Tyler preparing for their wedding at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.

Bethany dressed in her suite surrounded by her friends and Mom.  Her gorgeous  lace gown by Pronovias with a plunging neckline was elegant and sensual and she looked stunning!  Her updo emphasized the dress’ lines and her back.  Bethany wore earrings from the Kendra Scott bridal collection and an heirloom bracelet – we all got a little emotional as Mom placed it on her wrist.  My favorite thing was her reveal with Dad – he entered the room with eyes closed and when told to open them the photo above was the result.  I loved how Mom was looking at her hubby to see the reaction he would have to their gorgeous daughter.  It was super sweet and hugs were quick to follow!

Tyler and his boys had FUN while the got ready (that is kind of his thing!)  He is really a sweet and loving guy who embraces laughter, silliness and allot of dancing.  So his preparation time was full of silly selfies, shots and a side of dancing.

Leigh & Evan – Wedding First Look at FUMC CourtyardFort Worth, Texas

This first look had me crying!  When Evan walked out the door to see his bride, Leigh, he was all smiles and they immediately embraced.  First looks are the best!  They shared sweet moments together and Leigh showed off her stunning illusion back dress before they exchanged gifts.  Evan gave her a beautiful jewelry box so that over the years to come she can keep all the future gifts he might give her safe.  Leigh had been writing notes to him in a  journal for 2 years!  That book along with some stunning cuff links were her gift to him.  We also took advantage of the gorgeous architecture around the church and photographed these two alone.

Leigh & Evan – Wedding Ceremony at First United Methodist DowntownFort Worth, Texas

This day was so beautiful and full of tons of emotional moments.  As we arrived at the club the ladies were playing games and the guys were enjoying the newly renovated bar area at the Fort Worth Club on the 11th floor.  As Leigh was helped into her gown by her Mom and sister and bridesmaids and house party eagerly awaited the reveal of her gown…when she came out everyone squealed and clapped!  Leigh was surely stunning in her gown with an illusion back, lace detailing and plunging illusion neckline.  This dress was made for her!!!  The drama didn’t stop with that reveal – it was the first of THREE!  Next up Dad was just smiling and happy to see his gorgeous daughter.  (to see her First Look with Evan, the groom, check out the blog post dedicated to it.)  Leigh and Evan had prepared the most thoughtful gift for her parents – a weekend getaway after all the stress and planning of a wedding!  Mom was shocked and I was totally crying!

At ceremony time as the doors opened and everyone stood for Leigh to enter the church, Evan was flooded with emotion.  First look’s are special but they don’t take away from that special moment.  When he saw his bride arm in arm with her Dad he cried!  It was precious!  Watching these two from the balcony I had the best view in the house as they whispered to each other and smiled during their vows.  Then – they were married!  Congrats Leigh and Evan and I can’t wait to share your killer party pics!
