Meredith & Michael – Wedding Reception at The Room on Main, Dallas

Tracy Autem 2015

Meredith & Michael were so much fun to party with!  After a touching ceremony and a few portraits at Preston Hollow Church we headed downtown to the Room on Main!  It is a gorgeous venue with an amazing view of downtown Dallas.  The room decor was glamorous and classic with winter whites and touches of black and white and some little nods to the season with pine cones and greenery.

During the first dance Meredith smiled so much – I don’t think there was a second where she wasn’t smiling!  I just loved watching how much joy these two had in each others arms.  As the night went on so many sweet words were said during toasts – lots of laughter and silliness of course!  When it was time to party the band brought it!  They love to dance to Uptown Funk together – it is kind of their song.  Michael was out of the room when it played and when a girl in a white dress wants a song again – you do it!  So, the band cued it back up and played it for the happy couple and it was so awesome.  They were so fun together and it was my favorite moment from the reception.

Thanks Meredith and Michael for having us at your wedding – I love you guys and can’t wait to see what your future brings!

Huge thank you to Chloe with Stylish Soiree who made this wedding SO fun to work and made sure every detail came together.  All the vendors made it peferct!

Lindsey & Collin – Wedding Reception at Room On Main in Dallas

After Lindsey & Colin’s beautiful wedding ceremony at Highland Park Presbyterian we headed to downtown Dallas for their rocking wedding reception.  We started the evening with a few quick photos on the roof of the Room on Main for some spectacular city views before hitting the dance floor!  All night we enjoyed spectacular cuisine and entertainment.  Colin and his gang of groomsmen kept us busy on the dance floor with their entertaining and some times comical dance moves.  For treats we had a delicious Sugar Bee Sweets brides cake and for the groom ice cream cookie sandwiches!  It was such a cute idea and the guests were lined up for both.  As the night drew to a close the couple shared a private last dance before a sparkler send off in their vintage Bentley.  Congrats you two!

Lindsey & Colin Engagement Portraits in Dallas at The Farmers Market and Highland Park

Last week on a perfect day I spent some time exploring a new location that I will definitely have to resist on my own time, the farmers market!  It was amazing, filled with such bright colors and amazing smells.  It was a great backdrop for some casual portraits of Lindsey and Colin.  Then we headed to the Highland Park area where they attend church to some of the beautiful neighborhood parks.  These two made me laugh and Colin is a fun guy because he seems to be quite a juxtaposition on so many accounts.  He likes to hunt but does not like to get dirty when not in hunting attire and he looks at Lindsey like she is the only woman in the world.  That, makes me happy.  Lindsey is sweet and fun and definitely brings the best out in her sweetheart.  I love how they fit together!

They will be tying the knot next March in Dallas with a reception at The Room on Main.  She is building a stellar team so I know it will be a wedding to remember!
