Christine & Andrew – Engagement Photos at Dallas Arboretum & White Rock LakeDallas, Texas

Christine and Andrew are getting married TODAY!  That’s right – in just a few hours Andrew will be marrying Christine at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas.  We waited to photograph their engagement session until last week so I am excited to share some of their photos on their big day!

These two were introduced through mutual friends a few years ago and they hit it off!  They have built a great life in Dallas together with their Golden Doodle Layla.  I was so excited to spend time with them and I can’t wait to see how beautiful Christine looks today!  Happy Wedding day you two!

Courtney & Jake {Engaged} Fort worth Trinity Park, post office and downtown

Courtney and Jake are a super fabulous couple, they met at work, which is a great way to meet a spouse (that’s were I met mine!)  These two both work for the Texas Rangers so they have planned their wedding around baseball season so that everyone they love will be able to attend and to cut down on stress.  I just loved Courtney’s disposition and her vision for her wedding when we met a few weeks ago and it was great to finally meet Jake.  Can’t wait to see you both again in January at your wedding!

Aimee & Adam {Engaged} Urban Walls & Trinity Park in Fort Worth

Last weekend Aimee, Adam and I met up and spent some time together for their engagement session.  They are getting married next May at OW Ranch in Granbury.  Aimee and I had a great time chatting and getting to know one another.  Adam is definitely the strong silent type but I think I was able to break through and get to know him as well.  It is always fun to see the dynamic’s in a relationship and I found myself completely identifying with this couple.  Like them I am the chatty one and am more likely to be out and about and my hubby is the home body.  Aimee and Adam met online and everything just came together for them.  I love how many of my couples find love online, I hear it more often than you know.

Jadrien & McCall {Engaged} 2 TCU students in love & getting married!

It has been a very busy last couple of weeks a the studio and as much as I love it I hate getting behind on my editing.  You know me and that I like to get photos out super quick to my clients (besides I am always super excited to edit them and see them finished!)  I photographed Jadrien & McCall before our company trip to New Orleans for a photography conference and that meant they had to be put on the back burner while the Sarah’s and I learned new tricks, techniques and were inspired.  When I returned and started looking at these photos it brought a smile to my face.  These two TCU students are complete love birds and it was so much fun hanging out with them.  They will be graduating in May right before their wedding and then moving off to where ever McCall gets accepted for grad school.  I adore Jadrien’s curls and with the wind it was pure magic.  McCall needed no direction because he just loves this girl in a way that makes me squeal behind my camera.  Here are some favorites!

Lauren & Ryan Engaged!

Favorite from the shoot! Texture, love and a very vintage feel.

Favorite from the shoot! Texture, love and a very vintage feel.

At the beginning of the session Ryan was giving Lauren a hard time, with love of course, and at that moment he had me for sure.  I adore couples who are playful with each other and comfortable and these two are for sure.  I of course had to give Ryan a bit of a hard time too especially when he forgot to take off his first outfit when changing into his second.  He put a second collared shirt on over his first and we just shot away until it was time for wardrobe change number two and there was his first polo again!  I told him he failed the engagement session but I was lying because these two rocked it!  We shot at one of my new favorite spots in Fort Worth that has a very country feel but is right down town.  We also visited a few walls by the studio and the Fort Worth Water Gardens.

I hung out with Lauren on that dreary Saturday last week as well for her bridals but no peeking on those until the wedding.  See you guys in May!

It was a crowded Saturday down in the falls at the Water Gardens but everyone was so gracious so we could get a few shots.

I adore the way Ryan takes Lauren's arm when they walk together. They did through out the whole session as we went from spot to spot so we had to get a shot of it. So naturall and loving.

Jennifer & Max Engaged!

JenMaxSS-52This weekend I had so much fun with Jennifer and Max.  We ran into some obstacles with some keys accidentally getting locked in the trunk where all our changes of clothes were but luckily Jennifers super sweet Dad came to our rescue with a spare key.  The extra time we spent just chatting while we waited on him was well worth it as I love hanging with my couples even when we aren’t taking any photos.   These two met on a blind date and whoever set that up did a great job as they are a perfect match.  Jennifer is a lawyer in Dallas and Max is finishing up medical school.  I loved Max’s dry sense of humor and his second love, his new sports coat that really he didn’t want to take off.  He was convinced that it was the jacket making the photos look so good but I disagree, it was my in love subjects.  Here are some favorites from the Japanese Gardens, Kimball Art Museum and a lovely field down town.

Christina & Andrew Engaged!

TirbeniEngBlog_0001

I was so excited to finally catch up with these two, between illness and allergic reactions we had to reschedule a few times but it was SO worth the wait.  Andrew wanted some city vibes and Christina wanted something more natural so we explored a few of my favorite spots in Fort Worth as well as the Trinity River off down town.  These two have known each other since high school and I just love how comfortable they are with one another.   They laughed and played and made my job so very easy.  Here are some cute shots from their session.

Katy & Tyler Engaged!

HORSES! That is what I have to say about this shoot, it was like being a little kid because I got to play with horses!

Katy and Tyler met on horse back and horses are Tyler’s life so we couldn’t think of a better thing to do for their engagement session. We met out in Weatherford and explored the old train depot and downtown before heading to Katy’s parents place where they jumped on horse back and played. I love how Tyler had to re-enact his first interaction with Katy but of course he added a kiss as he leaned on her saddle. The light was scrumptious and the horses behaved and I honestly could not have asked for more.

I looking forward to their wedding and country elegant wedding at the stockyards in September.

Dawn & Josh Engaged!

Dawn and Josh live out in Lubbock and we finally found a time to get together for their engagement session last weekend. It was a double feature as I shot this in the morning and Dawn’s bridals in the afternoon. In the morning we explored the old Farmers Market, The Tower in down town and hit up a park so their pups could join us for a few shots. I can’t wait for their August 15th wedding at University Christian and The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
