Cherrell & Alan – Engagement Session at Dallas Arboretum & Arts DistrictDallas, Texas

I am just so excited for Cherrell & Alan’s New Years Eve wedding next year!  That’s right – I have to wait over a year to photograph this gorgeous couple again!  I don’t know how I am going to wait that long!

These two were pulled together through common friends online – Cherrell was bold and reached out and Alan was happy to get that message.  Shortly after they had their first two dates – all in one day!  These two have been doing their relationship long distance since the start due to Alan finishing medical school and now in his Residency while Cherrell is in Physician Assistant School.

Alan lights up with his gorgeous big smile anytime Cherrell is near – I can see these two are smitten for each other and that they have a solid relationship and great respect for one another.  For some fun at the end of their shoot we headed to a medical center for a few Doctor themed photos to pay honor to their professions.

Alesia & Gee – Dallas Engagement Session at the Winspear & Klyde Warren Park

Tracy Autem 2015

Alesia and Gee are just too adorable.  I love their fun personalities, how completely in love they are and well, everything!  From the moment they walked into my studio for our first meeting I was just taken with how much Gee loves Alesia.  She wants to make sure that Alesia has everything that matters to her, all her wedding dreams and more.  It was just refreshing to see a couple that really is serving one another, putting the other before themselves.  For their session we had to do the Winspear Opera house, they loved the reflecting pool there and so do I, it was awesome!  Alesia was totally channeling Audrey Hepburn in her classic black dress and pixie haircut and Gee rocked her fuchsia top and suiting.  After the arts district we headed to Klyde Warren Park for something a little more relaxed and so that Max, their puppy, could join the fun.  Klyde Warren is a total oasis in the middle of the city and such a fun spot to do photos.  The light was awesome, their love was awesome, it was amazing!  Can’t wait to see these two say I Do in April next year at The Milestone.

Kristy & Jarred – Engagement Photos in Dallas at Sand Volleyball Courts, White Rock Lake and the Arts District

OH my goodness.  I am SOOOOOO in love with this couple and their session.  I had a blast running around Dallas with them and didn’t want the session to end, unfortunately it had to as they were prepping to jet off to Mexico the next morning for a friends wedding.  These two have a great story, they met playing sand volleyball!  Don’t you love that?  I do so we met up at a bar that hosts sand volleyball games every week and where they often play for some fun photos showing off one of their passions.  I loved their “POOK” balls (so named as Jarred took up jokingly calling Kristy Pookie when they started dating.)  Then we headed off for some nature and white rock lake then some glamour in down town Dallas.  We hit up some of my favorites in the arts district near Winspear Opera House and Nasher Sculpture Center before ending with the Skyline at dusk.  All in all an awesome session and I am stoked for their October wedding!

Andrea & Ben {Married} A Dallas Wedding at Off the Grid

Andrea and Ben were married at Off The Grid in Dallas a few weeks ago.  This day was all about the fun, bright colors, lots of dancing and one incredible family.  Both Andrea and Ben have the sweetest little boys (one each) and it was adorable watching Ben help them get ready, one walking his Mom down the aisle and the other waiting with his Dad at the front for his new Mom (and Dad’s bride!)  I love that they incorporated their kids into the ceremony and did a special sand pouring where each of them had a different color to not only represent the joining of Andrea and Ben but them as a family. Once the ceremony ended the party kicked into high gear as they danced and had way to good of a time.

The had fabulous flowers and details by Tami Winn Events.  My favorite part of the evening was their thumb print guest book, so unique and a great way to truly get a print from all your guests.  Making the dance floor POP was a chandelier rented from Beyond.  Andrea’s look was pulled together from Bliss Bridal and Something You make up artistry.  Rounding out the day were my favorite video team, Turquoise Productions.
