Katie and Allen – Engagement Portraits in Fort WorthTrinity Park & Downtown

Katie & Allen are adorable!  They have made their home in Arlington with their two pups that could not be a better reflection of themselves.  They met through mutual friends – best friends that married each other brought these two into each others lives!  Could not be a better way to meet and be sure you have life in common.  Katie & Allen love to adventure and can be found playing top golf or attending a game – especially the Rangers!  After 4 years these two will say I Do this summer at Piazza in The Village and it is going to be one FUN party with DJ Andy Austin there to bring the party!

See you both in a few months!!!

Meredith & Michael – Engagement Portraits in Dallas Highland Park

Loved this fun and casual session in Highland Park a few weeks ago!  Everything was so lush and green from all the recent rains and these two just added to it with their sweet love shining through.  The way he looks at her, the way her face lights up when he is close – makes me pretty happy.

These two met through some mutual friends and slowly they grew into a couple.  Meredith didn’t take much notice of Michael at first – as he put it he was rocking out to some rad 90’s jams when they first met.  I am sure that just made her have to know more about this cool guy!  I love them, their sweet spirits and I can’t wait for their wedding this coming winter, it is going to be FUN!

More pics?  Of course!  Check out their slideshow:

Tiffany & Chip – Engagement Session in Dallas Bishop Arts District

dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-28 SO excited to share this one!  Tiffany and Chip were one of my first couples to book for the 2015 calendar year and I have to wait all the way until October for their Southern wedding at Lone Star Mansion.  I have been waiting ages to hang out with these two and take their engagement photos so we were stoked when the weather of this very wet May cooperated with us for their Dallas session.  Tiff & Chip wanted a very urban, city vibe to compliment their laid back yet elegant outdoor wedding.  I loved the locations we selected as it gives a nod to where they live and work at this time.  Hanging out in Bishop Arts we stopped in for a quick bite of pie at Emporium Pies (haven’t been?  Run, not walk, immediately to get your self  a slice.) They dived in to a slice of red chess pie and shared some cute moments in the oh so sweet shop.  After running around the arts district we headed out to accomplish a killer shot of the Dallas skyline (seen above.)  This bridge was the perfect vantage point but it was a good thing we had a spotter (Tiffany’s Mom) to watch out for some very fast driving cars!  Congrats you two and I am over the moon about your upcoming wedding! -Tracy Oh, not enough?  Check out their slideshow: dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-1 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-2 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-3 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-4 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-5 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-6 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-7 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-8 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-9 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-10 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-11 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-12 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-13 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-14 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-15 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-16 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-17 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-18 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-19 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-20 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-21 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-22 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-23 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-24 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-25 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-26 dallas bishop arts engagement engaged skyline bridge tiff chip-27

Carley & Drew {Engaged} Fort Worth Urban Locations & Trinity River

Has this weather not been fantastic lately?  Today it is feeling a bit like winter but the last few weeks we have had unheard of warmth for January and February!  That is completely fine with me as we have been busy photographing engagements for some of our 2012 couples.  Carley & Drew live near Houston so we had to plan around one of their trips up to Fort Worth to see Carley’s family.  We explored a few of my favorite locations and one new spot.  Carley requested some photos near the Trinity river and I have been eying these tall reeds by the river off Beach Street for some time so I was excited to finally check them out.  It is actually a part of a larger park and bike trails that connects to the park that is home to the Fort Woof Dog Park.  Definitely a new favorite spot.  Favorite moment during their session, Drew’s awesome eyebrow raise.  Maybe I should say moments because I caught him doing it more than once.  Love clients that can express them selves.  See you two later this year for your wedding in November!

Brides of North Texas {Fall/Winter 2011 Issue Gown Shoot} Dreamy dresses, elegant bride, handsome groom and vintage detailing

I do have a true love story with brides and wedding dresses.  One of the main reasons I am passionate about shooting weddings is that I love the fairy tale, the excitement and the uniqueness that surrounds each wedding gown and the bride that chooses it.  When the owners of Brides of North Texas Magazine approached me about this dreamy vintage shoot I was on board from the  moment I saw the inspiration board.  It was completely up my alley as I love all things that are soft, natural, vintage and romantic.  It stood out to me as different as well from other gown editorials as we were going to throw into the mix a good looking young man, some designer suiting, a table-scape, detail shots and a boudoir look!  I was completely taken a back as well as I thought, little old me, shoot a gown editorial?  I knew I could do it but I also think that a degree of humbleness and wanting to improve is essential to any artists growth.  This shoot humbled me, wowed me and when I finally held the magazine in my hands I was in awe of what I created.  I actually looked at my staff and said I can’t believe these are my photos!  I am so in love with each image and the Brides of North Texas staff so blessed me with this opportunity.  I can’t wait for the projects I will shoot with them in the future!  Later this Fall I will share some more images from the shoot that are not in the magazine as well as a few behind the scenes moments.

Natalie & Ryan {Engaged} Urban walls and Herritage Park field

Natalie and Ryan are getting married this June and we finally had a chance to get together and not only take engagement photos but meet for the first time! They both live in Houston and planning from out of town can be tough so we had a phone consultation but had never met.  Natalie is a girl who knows what she wants, especially when it comes to weddings because she is a coordinator and also does floral design.  Because of this she has put together once exclusive team of vendors and I frankly can not wait for her wedding!  They came by the studio early so we could chat, look at some albums and other products and get to know one another a bit before they had to be in front of the camera.  They loosened right up and I had such a great time with them.  My favorite part of the entire session was Ryan picking a dandelion for Natalie to blow on for a wish.  Unfortunately it was one stubborn weed but it sure was sweet.
