The Sky Lobby at Chase Tower in Dallas, Texas was the most perfect backdrop for this modern couple’s wedding ceremony. Before heading upstairs to say I do we captured some romantic images in front of the venue. Caitlin & Jordan’s day had so many beautiful locations that I have had to separate their wedding blogs into 4 posts so I could give each spot their own spotlight! The Sky lobby has stunning views of Dallas and even after the sunset the room was big and spacious and elegant with the glimmer of downtown lights in the distance. During their ceremony I loved watching their smiles, their parents and of course all the perfect little moments that made everyone laugh. Such a special time!

I LOVE an emotional couple and Laura & David are like my dream clients – these two love each other and are not afraid to show it. David is such a cutie – I mean – look at his reaction (above) as he watched his beautiful Laura walk down the aisle to him! What more can you ask for in a man? Well, that was just the start. This loving man had sweet words and nice gestures all day for his beloved – it made me cry SO many times!!! During the ceremony the vows they had for each other were heartfelt and true and during the ceremony David was SO excited to be marrying his bride he couldn’t stop talking. He wasn’t afraid to speak up and say how beautiful she was, lucky he was and in love with her he was. Their ceremony had me crying, smiling and with goose bumps! Laura was so thoughtful in all she did – from fun custom boots for her groom to perfect gifts for all the parents. During the ceremony and every time she was near him, she was just glowing.
It was a pretty amazing day!

Emilee & Jeff’s black and white wedding was not just super pretty – it was full of emotional moments that made me get goose bumps and cry happy tears behind my camera. After an sweet first look at the Omni hotel we headed to Marty Leonard Chapel for their wedding ceremony. Emilee got her bridesmaids super fun black and white polka dot umbrella’s by Kate Spade so we had to use them for a photo – so cute! After some photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen outside the church it was time for their fall nighttime ceremony. The chapel has bright light during the day but at night it is moody and dimly lit and I think it feels very romantic. During the ceremony I don’t think Jeff stopped smiling for an instant – I love his smile – so bright and contagious. Even now I am smiling as I type thinking about his face. 🙂 After the I do’s we were able to capture some night time portraits showing off the architecture and space that makes the Marty Leonard Chapel so beautiful and unique.
Weddings are awesome but they are sure made better by a fab vendor team! Thankfully Emilee had one great team:

Colleen & Frank have been dating for 2 years. These two met and quickly fell in love. Their quirky and brainy personalities are such a perfect match and you can really see how they complete each other. The love to travel, their dogs and enjoy spending time together caring for their family and friends. Throughout their wedding day I could see the strong passion they have for others and placing people before themselves. They are kind and full of love for each other too. 🙂
For their wedding we started the day at Colleen’s childhood home in Lewisville before their wedding at St Phillip’s Catholic Church – where she attended as a child and teen. They exchanged gifts before the wedding and Frank’s awesome Dr. Who cufflinks were so fun and perfectly him! Frank gave Colleen a jewelry box (and some jewelry of course) but what caught me was his instructions and help so that she would know how to open the box just right. During the ceremony there were lots of smiles and laughs and it was all sealed with a kiss – poor Frank was left with a little reminder of that kiss but Colleen lovingly wiped the lipstick from his face before the were pronounced man and wife.
After the wedding ceremony we headed to the Fort Worth Stockyards for some fun romantic photos of the couple and bridesmaids and groomsmen. The rustic nature area (above) is so pretty and perfect for some images of the two alone before some more fun pics in the stockyards station. We got there right as the cows were walking the streets for their daily cattle drive and had to jump into the road for some pics with the historic signage.
At the Depot a beautiful and lush floral filled room awaited the couple for their party. The night was filled with great toasts, sweet dances, fun, laughter and some delicious bites! It was such a fun night and I was so happy to be with them. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your day and I am so excited for all the future holds for you.
Huge shout out to all the vendors that made Colleen & Frank’s day so amazing:

Charissa & Damon had a beautiful wedding at City Club of Fort Worth and I am so excited to finally share! These two met over 6 years ago and through their courtship they have enjoyed lots of fun, sporting events and growing together as a team. Now they are on to life’s next adventure – as husband and wife!
We met up with this adorable couple at City Club where they spent their day from getting ready, the ceremony and the reception. Charissa and her girls were glammed by the Beauty and the Blush hair and makeup team. Charissa looked stunning with her classic undo and clean lined ball gown dress. I was completely smitten with the bodice and the ribbon detailing on the bottom. It reminded me of a 50’s starlet on the red carpet! Damon and his guys hung out and helped him keep calm leading up to the ceremony.
After their ceremony we slipped out onto the balcony for some fun night time shots with the city lights behind them before spending the rest of the night on the dance floor! Damon is all smiles when he has his arms wrapped around his wife and it was so sweet watching them together. We had such a great time celebrating with them!

Britny and Aman make me so happy – their love for each other is strong and full of so much life, laughter and just goodness. I remember noticing how Aman looked at Britny when I photographed her sister’s wedding years ago. That look hasn’t changed and he was definitely wearing that big in love grin when she walked down the aisle to him at the McKinney Cotton Mill!
We kicked off their wedding day at the wedding venue along side the girls as they were prettied by the JTorry team. Aman and his guys hung at the hotel and joined us at the Cotton Mill for some family portraits and photos with his guys. After dressing in her gown Britny shared a special first look with her Daddy and their eyes both filled with tears. It was so incredibly sweet.
Finally wedding time the strings started to play and everything came together to make these two husband and wife! I loved their sweet smiles as they exchanged vows and rings.
Can’t wait to share all the beautiful details from the wedding reception! Shout out to all the vendors we partnered with for this wedding celebration!
Britny & Aman are so completely adorable and I am so excited to share their 2 day wedding event! I met up with these 2 and their families for a traditional Sikh wedding at the temple in Garland on Friday morning before their american ceremony the next day at McKinney Cotton Mill. Britny looked lovely in her bright pink and gold Sari – I loved all the adornment and her hair and makeup were flawless! This was my first ceremony in the temple and it was a beautiful and peaceful event. As the couple walked around the altar area 3 times they were married, united as one and Aman lead Britny into their new lives as husband and wife! I loved that the event was kicked off with the family greeting one another outside and then they served a delicious feast before and after the ceremony. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of this special day and I can’t wait to share the rest of your wedding festivities next week!
This day was full of all the feels – I mean look at this image that started our day! As we arrived Megan was getting ready to read her note from Dylan and open her gift. As she sat down and started to read the tears poured and it was precious in every way. You all know how I feel about the feels – I am one happy photographer. 🙂
As the ladies dressed and the guys toasted and finished their final details we captured the fun, the emotions and the nerves leading up to the first look (see the post dedicated to that! yes, it was so good it needed it’s own.) Megan’s attire pretty much is one of my favorite looks ever – from her louboutin’s to her sparkly backless dress with it’s fun fluffy skirt. Megan lovingly refers to her dress as Fluffy – every gown needs a special name! Ready to go the couple and their bridesmaids and groomsmen set off on a bus to the Robert Carr Chapel at TCU Campus to get married!

Jessica & Anthony’s wedding ceremony and reception at Nuvo Room in Dallas was so perfect for them, fun and elegant with a touch of modern. They put so much work into their wedding day. That gorgeous altar backdrop flower wall was totally hand made by these two and friends/family. It was gorgeous! Like I wanted to take it home! During the ceremony there was so much emotion from a sweet forehead kiss from Daddy giving away his princess to loving glances and smirky smiles. All the feels were had by all.
When party time hit it was full steam ahead with laughter, fun and dancing! Anthony and Jessica rarely strayed from each others side – there is a magnetism to them that is truly beautiful to watch. I think their friends said it best as they toasted them – the touched on their love for each other, how genuinely nice and caring this couple is and how they are so suited for each other. Best part though was the wish the maid of honor ended her toast with – Lots of Sex! I have never heard that one before but must say it’s a good wish on a marriage!
Thanks Jessica and Anthony for inviting me into our lives and letting me be a part of your day. I am lucky you choose me, it was beyond perfect and inspiring to get to know you. You are two love with your full selves – not just each other – but all around you. You are both so very lucky.
