Comments OffWow! There were a ton of votes and if it wasn’t for the beauty of plugins for word press blogs counting them might have been a beast of a task. Thankfully with a simple click and an export into Excel I was able to sort easily to remove those pesky duplicate votes (sorry, only one per email counted) and then count out the votes. Lauren and Ryan won with an amazing 150 votes! They win a 16×24 canvas wrap of an image of their choice!
I adore canvas wraps. I have them all over my home from the entry way to a collection of images on my fire place mantle. They really are the perfect way to display your photos. Seamless and simple they can be hung anywhere, they are light weight and easy to hang. Medium size canvases start at $325 and large options that will fill a wall above your sofa or fire place are $725.
Our runner up, Sarah & Symon, put up a good fight of 133 votes. I was so impressed with her facebook campaign and even counting her own votes to see where she was in the contest that I am giving them a $50 print credit with out online proofing company, pictage!
Thanks to all that voted and for all my 2011 brides, you will get your chance to win one next year!

Comments Off2010 was a super fabulous year. I watched my first little man grow into a big 1 year old, laughed allot with my sweet clients, enjoyed my supportive husbands company every step of the way and took A LOT of photos. January is a time of reflection and preparation for the wedding and portrait season to come because lets face it, no one wants to take photos in this unpredictable Texas winter. Today it felt like spring and by the weekend we could have some sleet or snow!
I wanted to take some time to celebrate my clients. SO, if you were a wedding or portrait client of mine in 2010, here is your chance to win a 16×24 canvas of a photo of your choice from your event!
RULES:
1) Send my blog link tracyautem.com/blog to all of your family & friends to help win a beautiful canvas. You are more than welcome to post the link on facebook.
2) You must leave a comment below with your favorite image # and why (any comments left on facebook will not count.) The image number is above the image with the clients name.
3) ONE COMMENT ALLOWED PER PERSON (PLEASE honor this rule and help make this a fair contest..if I feel the voting gets a little fishy, I will end the contest)
4) Voting ends Wednesday January 26th at 11:59pm. The image with the most votes will be announced by Monday, January 31st.

Lord knows that the wedding day is tight, between getting ready, getting married and having a killer party many things have to happen. Sometimes my couples don’t get to spend as much time getting romantic photos of themselves taken as they would like. No problem there! A romantics photo shoot after the wedding is the perfect solution and it means we get to go some where super fun and different from your wedding day locations. Tiffany and Matthew did just that with me last month right before Christmas at the McKinney Cotton Mill. I know Tiffany was excited to wear her gown from Bliss Bridal one more time and I was stoked to hang out with them and catch up since their October wedding.
