Jennifer and Shane were married on September 11th at the Piazza in the Village in Colleyville.  It was a beautiful day and Jennifer was a stunning bride in her Watters gown.  We started the day at a local hotel form some primping before heading to the Piazza.  We had such a great time with Jen, her family and bridesmaids laughing and hanging out as they were being beautified by the awesome hair and make up team Jennifer brought in.  Once at the Piazza it was wedding time before we knew it and when those double doors opened Shane was just beaming to see his bride.  During the ceremony they did a unique unity candle lighting where after lighting their one candle they passed the flame on to their parents and across the congregation of the chapel.  I always love to see new and different things at weddings and this was a first for me.   Then it was on to the party!  Here are some favorite photographs that tell the story of their Dallas Fort Worth Wedding day with moments, details and portraits.

I love these two photos, I couldn’t decide between them so I am sharing them both.  Jenn’s Dad has been the guy with the camera all his life and he was running around taking photos as the girls got dressed.  I didn’t mind, it made him feel comfortable.  I did let him know he could trust me and I feel that he did.  In these moments you see him relaxing, watching his baby girl become a bride and the pride and love is clear.  I am a Daddy’s girl myself so these make me melt.

The above photo defines this couple for me.  Stacy and Brent are so loving and sweet and in this moment I saw.  After their first look in which Stacy cried and they were both so happy to finally see each other this happened.  Sarah Rizy had gone out into the chapel entry to invite the family inside so we could begin formal photos.  Concerned her make up was smeared, Brent took it upon himself to oh so carefully blot her eyes.  I just love the calmness and confidence Stacy had that he would not further smear it and the complete concentration Brent took to ensure his bride looked perfect.  That is love and why I do what I do.  Every day I shoot people I get to see, really see, who people are.  Here is Stacy & Brent’s wedding day, the moments that mattered and their highlights slide show.  Congratulations guys!  You know I love you  and am so glad I was there to share in your day.

Together at last. This moment is why first look's bring me joy. This is what I believe all couples want to do when they finally see each other on the wedding day but most don't because they are in front of a crowd. Alone there is honesty in every action and I love it.

Stacy and Brent were married in a sweet Sunday afternoon wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel on September 5th.  Their day was full of amazing moments, romance and some very fun and bright details!  After the ceremony these two gave me tons  of time to play as we photographed the two of them at the chapel, the Kimball Art Museum and outside their reception venue, The Ashton Depot.  Check out some of their steamy and sweet moments as well as their fun turquoise day!  Photos of their moments and the slide show coming later this week!
