Robin & Corey are two of the sweetest people, from meeting Robin at a previous bride’s wedding I knew this girl was special and I was stoked to be shooting her wedding from moment one. Robin dressed her bridesmaids in awesome animal print shoes and used some awesome textures and unexpected touches in all her flowers from feathers and more. It was definitely a wedding with a viewpoint and it is always so much fun to see how my brides bring themselves into the little things on their day. Corey and the guys kicked back and enjoyed the Red River Shoot Out (Go Texas!) and then more college ball as he patiently waited for ceremony time. The Sanford House in Arlington was absolutely beautiful and I look forward to photographing more weddings there in the future as I just adored the setup, lights, garden and getting ready rooms. Enjoy some of my favorite moments and little things from their day!

I am just a handful of weeks away now from my first baby being born and last week my associate Sarah Bunyard headed out to play with me. I love being behind the camera but being in front of it is always a great experience as it helps me to understand my clients insecurities, quirks and sometimes strange conversations with their loved ones. Very few people are naturally comfortable with a lens pointed their direction but my husband, J.W., and I had a great time laughing, being silly and of course intimate and close to one another. We brought props like balloons, a few outfits and checked out a location I have been dying to shoot in….a laundry mat! It was awesome and I am excited to share some of my belly shots with my amazing clients. I will be on maternity leave from shooting from Nov 14 until the new year but of course will still be available for meetings, emails and phone calls. Little Alexander Wayne Autem is due the beggining of December and the bith is being captured by a good friend of mine so Sarah Rizy will make sure and post some newborn photos as soon as he arrives. Enjoy!

Tons of laughs, dancing, silliness and an amazing couple that is so in love it gives me goose bumps. This wedding day can be summed up in those few words. Here are some favorite moments from through out their day at

This weekend I had so much fun with Jennifer and Max. We ran into some obstacles with some keys accidentally getting locked in the trunk where all our changes of clothes were but luckily Jennifers super sweet Dad came to our rescue with a spare key. The extra time we spent just chatting while we waited on him was well worth it as I love hanging with my couples even when we aren’t taking any photos. These two met on a blind date and whoever set that up did a great job as they are a perfect match. Jennifer is a lawyer in Dallas and Max is finishing up medical school. I loved Max’s dry sense of humor and his second love, his new sports coat that really he didn’t want to take off. He was convinced that it was the jacket making the photos look so good but I disagree, it was my in love subjects. Here are some favorites from the Japanese Gardens, Kimball Art Museum and a lovely field down town.
