Krista & Marc are a sweet couple who got dealt one monstrously rainy day for their wedding but they smiled on and we all had a blast no matter what was going on outside.  From their church to the fabulous City Club Dallas it was a perfect day.  Some of my favorite moments of the entire day though were from the ceremony.  Weather it be the bride cracking up, the sweet way Marc looked at Krista or all the flower girls passing out asleep on a pew it was an AMAZING ceremony.  It made me excited for these two and the journey that is ahead of them.  I really am privileged to share in these intimate moments with my clients.  Here are some of my favorite moments of their wedding day.

May the rainy day be a ton of luck to Marc & Krista, off to their honeymoon where hopefully it was sunny and perfect.

Katy and Tyler were sent to me earlier this year by way of her Matron of honor, Lacie.  Lacie and Matt were one of my fabulous couples last year and Katy was in their wedding.  It is so much fun to work with past clients and their friends!  Another couple of mine was also present at their wedding and it was so nice to see them all and how great their new lives are going.

These two are the type of couple where from the moment you see them together you know they have something special.  The way he looks at her, how she laughs when he does, it all equals perfection.  Their wedding day was filled with joyful tears from all (including myself) and fun filled moments.  From their wedding at her home church in Weatherford to the reception at the Fort Worth Stockyards it was a rocking day.  Great music, food and fun all night long!  Here are some of my favorite parts of their wedding day.

My absolute favorite part of every wedding, the moment the bride and groom make it out the door and have a private moment alone. It is that first "We are married!" moment and they are finally away from all the eyes of thier guests. It is so special and usually couples are like magnets and can't help but kiss, laugh or just beam at one another.

Thier country reception at the Fort Worth Stockyards allowed for some awesome time alone for thier romantics. Great locations + super in love couple = happy photographer.

Katy is a singer and man was I impressed, she sang a heart wrenching song with absolute perfection that brought Tyler and all of us to tears.

off to the honeymoon!

I am so lucky to get to work with the greatest girls.  My favorite weddings are often past bridesmaids and friends of my brides.  Robin was a bridesmaid earlier this year in Megan & Austin’s wedding so we already had hung out and I had a feel for her in front of the camera.  Corey and I hadn’t really met but he was just the sweetest thing and super fun as the three of us explored some new locations.  These guys were brave from homeless men coming up to us to the discovery of a giant wasp nest during thier shoot.  I think the risks paid off as we laughed and got some killer images.  Here are some favorites and I  can’t wait to make more beautiful images with these two at their wedding on October 17th!

2 weeks ago Sarah Rizy and I spent a fun filled night at the Sheraton in down town Fort Worth.  No, we didn’t spend the night and have a pillow fight.  We shot some rocking models in amazing gowns by Bliss Bridal!  These girls volunteered their time and got into some couture gowns and we played to show off the amazing venue.  The Sheraton is a great hotel to get ready at prior to your wedding with some great suites with tons of rooms for all your bridesmaids, great halls for that scrumptious dinner reception and right across the street is the Fort Worth Water Gardens.  The gardens are the perfect spot to hold your ceremony over looking the quiet pool, a great place to combine city, park and water all in one!  The staff and the Sheraton can help you organize your wedding at the Gardens and take care of your reception!

So beautiful and in love.

Dawn & Josh were married at University Christian Church in Fort Worth with a smashing reception to follow at The Modern.  Great couple, great food, great band (Trey & the Tritones) and the list goes on = a fun filled day of fabulous photos.  From the moment I met Dawn I knew her wedding would be a beautiful day and I was so excited to get to be a part of it.  Dawn and Josh live out in Lubbock so they did all their planning on short trips home and relied are their awesome Mom’s to help along the way with all the details.  Here are some of my favorite moments and details from their wedding day!
