KopetskyWedBlog 2 Mr & Mrs Greg Kopetsky

It is a rare treat to get to photograph an intimate garden wedding and Jennifer & Greg had just that earlier this month.  Surrounded by their kids, family and friends these two tied the knot at their friends home in Arlington on June 9th.  We ran off and explored some local parks for their romantics before the ceremony.  My favorite part of the day was their words to the children, their promises and tears on Jennifer’s part before inviting the kids up to join hands and pray.  Then these two shared their first kiss.  It was fun to be a part of their laid back day, here are few favorites.  Their cake cutting was a family affair and all the kids had a bite!

These two have attitude and I LOVE it!

This month has flown by and in just a few short days it will be July 1st, a new month and my one year wedding anniversary!  We have been so busy at the studio from a massive update to both the Tracy Autem Site as well as the Wedding and Portrait sites for Lightly Photography and this new blog for me.  Before heading into another amazing wedding weekend for Michelle & Kyle I had to share two shots from Amy & John’s wedding earlier this month.  They are adorable and because they did a first look we got to play for quite awhile, just the 3 of us.  One image is a fun one but the other steamy.  Enjoy and more work coming next week before my vacation/destination wedding in Hawaii.  I will be out of the office July 4-14th.

MarcKristaEngBlog 7 Krista & Marc Engaged!
Krista and Marc and their two little ones (pups) and I had some fun in Dallas the other day for their engagement session. We headed out to the park for some dog friendly photos before checking out Marc’s work (a golf course) and down town Dallas.

Their dogs cracked me up, especially Putter. She was to cute with her rotund and short little body jumping over things and being a cutie. Marc was a great sport even though I think he would have rather been relaxing on his day off. Here are some images from their session.MarcKristaEngBlog 8 Krista & Marc Engaged!

RussellWedBlog 0018 A Mississippi Destination Wedding

On May 23rd in Natchez, Mississippi these two were married at the Dunlieth Plantation. It was a great weekend from their rehearsal dinner to the end of the wedding. It had been pouring the day before and we were forced to rehearse inside but we all said many prayers and we had the most perfect weather for this outside event.

The groom is one of our second shooters so I was so excited when he asked me to shoot this for him. It is always a privilege when anther photographer likes our work enough to have us be there for them on their wedding day.

Upon arriving in Natchez we (my husband accompanied me) were greeted in our room with the sweetest gift basket complete with the couple’s favorite drinks. On her wedding day we had to keep tracking down her favorite, Coca-Cola, as the property was a Pepsi kinda place. The bride arrived on a horse drawn carriage and her Dad married them as the groom’s Father asked who gave her hand in marriage. The best part – the romantics! These two were ready for some time alone and we took complete advantage of the lovely property. Here are some of my favorites but really, watch their slide show because the entire day was just beautiful.RussellWedBlog 0002 A Mississippi Destination Wedding

DolezalWedBlog 0010 Mr. & Mrs. Garison Dolezal

Alex & Garison are TCU sweet hearts and their wedding was so much fun! We kicked the day off at University Christian Chapel across from TCU where they had a sweet and beautiful ceremony. After wards we headed to one of my favorite Fort Worth venues where we got the party started and it never stopped. Trey & the Tritonesreally rocked all night from the smooth romantic styles during dinner to some funky disco and rock until we all went home. I don’t think Alex & Garrison hardly ever left the dance floor and her sister even hopped on stage to sing Love Shack! If you are looking for a live band that will not disappoint be sure to look up Trey! Here are some favorite images from their day.
