With all this chilly wheather I was worried but for no reason! It was a beautiful weekend and I was able to go out and play in the sun!

Saturday I spent the afternoon with Kristen and Ryan. They are going to tie the knot in June this summer and for their pictures we hung out in the Stockyards in Fort Worth. We didn’t realize it was the stock show this week (and into February actually) and it was crowded down there. We managed to steer clear of the cowboys although we did get the occasional yell of “take my picture!” I must say that was a new one. Here are a few of my favorites so far.
This weekend was also my boyfriends birthday and our anniversary and we went out and played some putt-putt golf! I’ll post a few pics later from our silliness.

Daisy and Miguel expect that well over 90% of their guests will either only speak Spanish or it will be their native tongue. This posed a challenge for me as I am in no way fluent in Spanish. Daisy and I worked together and we came up with a Spanish translation for her guest book. I am so excited to be providing her with a special keepsake in Spanish so that all of her friends and family will be able to write them a special comment to commemorate their day!

Last weekend I photographed my first wedding of 2008. Heather and I are good friends. We have even taken a vacation together. Her and Ron got hitched and I am SO happy for the two of them. Here are a few of my favorites from their day.
After their traditional Catholic ceremony the two of them had an emotional moment in the “crying room” at the church. We were all crying and making full use of that little room.
Heather choose to be non-traditional and wear red. She was stunning and I especially loved her hot little red shoes.
A fun twist on traditional wedding cakes: mini cakes. Heather and Ron had 3 different flavors and each flavor was decorated differently so you could easily tell them apart. They were adorable and scrumptious. Each guest had their own personal cake! I loved this idea. These mini cakes were made by A Slice of Life Cakes in Arlington.

Yesterday I spent a warm January afternoon with Daisy and Miguel. We hung out at the Dallas Arboretum and enjoyed the sunshine and despised the wind. The Dallas Arboretum is such a beautiful place and it never ceases to amaze me. In early January there were still flowers in bloom, great fall leaves and immaculate gardens. One of the best outdoor spots in the area to get married.
These two are a sweet couple and Miguel brought along his guitar. He is a musician but I couldn’t get a song out of him….maybe on the wedding day!Congratulations Daisy and Miguel! I look forward to sharing your day with you on March 1st!!
